What We Do
Calibre Mining has had quite a journey as a gold explorer turned producer,
starting in Nicaragua, expanding to Nevada, USA and now to Newfoundland
& Labrador, Canada. Over four years, Calibre reinvented itself from a
prospect generator and explorer in 2019 when it partnered with B2Gold
purchasing their assets in Nicaragua. Calibre changed the philosophy of how
things were managed in Nicaragua whereby it has been able to grow gold
production 30% compounded annually each year, concurrently increasing
Mineral Reserves 370% over the last four years and has built cash from
essentially zero to $215 million at the end of the second quarter of 2024.
Calibre looks forward to growing both it’s production and Mineral Reserves
going forward, with the commencement of gold production from its Valentine
Gold Mine in Newfoundland in Q2, 2025.
